Graffiti fade Advent calendar 2020.
Please check out your Advent calendar separate to any other purchases (since they can't be sent at the same time)
This is the fourth year of the Rose Hip Island Advent Calendar. This year I have decided to make a graffiti inspired fade. Fun and crazy and a little bit dark with splashes of colour. Like graffiti.
(If you are after something more subtle in colourways and/or you don't need another 24 mini skeins in your stash, please check out my 12 Days of Christmas.)
The Calendar includes 24 * 20g mini skeins all individually packaged and numbered 1-24. The minis that are included in the set are all new variegated and speckled colourways. They will fade from lighter to darker. There is also the option to add a full 'Secret Santa' 100g skein. The 100g skein will be in a tonal colourway that would work well with the minis in a project. Perhaps as a border or a main colour in a striped pattern.
Like last year, each calendar will come in a drawstring calico bag. And there will be some added little extras.
This listing is for 24*20g minis and optional full 100g skein in Delicious sock, a 85% Australian merino and 15% nylon base with approx. 400m/100gram. This is a lovely plump yarn that takes dye beautifully. It is my favourite sock yarn and I am very happy that I can offer this as mini skeins.
The minis can be used for any garment, accessory, blanket etc. The sky is the limit really. You will have a total of 480 g of yarn (over 1900 m), and an additional 100 g if you choose, the possibilities are endless! I would like to make a note that these minis will be secret colourways and if you have a particular project in mind to make I can't guarantee that the colourways or order of opening will be what you find the most appropriate for your project.
Option 1 (minis only): 24*20g minis in Delicious sock.
Option 2 (minis and full skein): 24*20g minis in Delicious sock and a 100g skein to go with them.
Shipping: Calendars will be sent out early November (at the latest) to reach their destination in time for December 1st 2020. I post in Australia Post pre-paid satchels which is the lowest cost (and keeps the total cost of the calendar down) but it still has tracking for a bit more security.
