12 Days of Christmas 2020. 'Tea and yarn'
Please check out seperate to other purchases, unless you are happy for your entire order to be sent at the time of the 12 Days of Christmas (November 2020).
Sometimes 24 minis skeins is just a little bit more than you need and I like to offer the option of a 12 days of Christmas. Last year I had a very successful tea themed Advent calendar and I thought this year I would use the theme for my 12 Days of Christmas. It will be different tea and colourways to the Advent calendar 2019, just similar inspiration.
To go with the tea theme I will include 12 different teas to go with your minis. Imagine opening your small package everyday to have a new flavour cup of tea to go with your knitting or fondling of your new mini. Sounds like heaven to me! I do try to avoid unnecessary packaging when I put together my calendars but for health reasons I will choose teas that are individually packaged teabags. I will source a variation of black, green and herbal teas. Some classics but also some fun and different flavours.
The listing includes 12 * 20g mini skeins all individually wrapped and numbered 1-12. The colourways are a mix of tonals and variegated with some speckles, all tea inspired. They will be fun together in a project or will be perfect to add as contrasting toes and heels on socks. The minis will each come individually wrapped together with a tea bag and all 12 packages stored in a calico drawstring bag.
This listing is for 12*20g minis in Delicious sock, a 85% Australian merino and 15% nylon base with approx. 400m/100gram. This is a lovely plump yarn that takes dye beautifully. It is my favourite sock yarn and I am very happy that I can offer this as mini skeins.
The minis can be used for any garment, accessory, blanket etc. The sky is the limit really. You will have a total of 240 g of yarn. The possibilities are endless! Please note that these minis will be secret colourways. If you have a particular project in mind to make, I can't guarantee that the colourways or order of opening will be what you find the most appropriate for your project.
Shipping: Packages will be sent out early November (at the latest) to reach their destination in time for December 1st 2020. I post in Australia Post pre-paid satchels which is the lowest cost (and keeps the total cost of the calendar down), but it still has tracking for a bit more security.
